5 Years of Hive Surrogacy, 40 Babies Born, and a Pride Month Full of Joy 🐝🏳️‍🌈

Five years ago, Hive Surrogacy was just an idea—born from lived experience, passion for ethical and inclusive care, and a deep belief in the power of community. Today, we’re celebrating a milestone that feels like a dream come true: five beautiful years of walking alongside people on their journey to parenthood & Surrogacy.

And as if that wasn’t enough cause for celebration, this June—during Pride Month—we are overjoyed to welcome three babies born to three incredible gay couples into the world.

One of these babies will mark a particularly sweet milestone: the 40th baby born through Hive

Surrogacy. Forty stories. Forty families. Forty moments that remind us why we do what we do.

From a Spark to a Hive

Hive Surrogacy was built to be different.

There’s something especially poetic about this moment happening in June. Pride Month has always been about love, resilience, and being seen—and at Hive, we are honoured to actively create space for LGBTQ+ families to grow.

We know that for many queer couples, the road to parenthood hasn’t always been accessible. But we’re here to change that. We believe everyone deserves the opportunity to create a family in a way that feels safe, empowering, and supported.

Helping three gay couples become parents this month isn't just a milestone—it’s a reflection of the future we’re helping to build. A future where love is love, and family is defined by intention, not biology.
