A Dream Realized in Newfoundland

8 Years of Waiting, the Vastness of Canada, and a New Family: Our Journey with Hive.

After several years of an intense fertility journey in France, we found ourselves at a dead end. Five years of hope, doubt, and resilience passed until the day we decided to open a new door: Canada. It was through conversations with other couples who had taken the leap that this project began to take shape.

We chose Anova Clinic in Toronto to begin this new chapter. A year into the protocol, we achieved our first victory: we finally had embryos. But this was only the beginning of the roller coaster. Now, we needed to find the agency that would guide us through the next steps.

When we discovered Hive’s values, we immediately felt a connection. Our first video call with Angie and Nici sealed the deal—we had found our team. We met people who were deeply human, kind, and reassuringly efficient. Just 48 hours later, we officially joined the Hive family.

The adventure then took an unexpected turn. Only a few days after that call, before we had even finished preparing our introduction video, we received incredible news: we had been matched with an extraordinary woman. Today, she is an integral part of our family.

Thanks to Hive and this amazing woman, our lives changed 18 months later. It was in Newfoundland that we finally held our little girl in our arms, becoming parents after eight long years of waiting.
